Swing VIDEO CAMP!

Add fun moves to your summer !!

1 week  of FUN, DANCING, 
VINTAGE FILM CLIPS,  
& MAKING A SWING VIDEO !!! 
This is a camp designed for teens, 
especially middle & high school age students.
But all ages are welcome.
Classes run Monday through Friday.  Students will 
learn exciting 6 count and 8 count Lindy, 
vernacular  jazz movement, Charleston, styling, turns, dance etiquette and a few safe, easy lifts. 
No experience necessary. 
Classes will start at a beginning level and 
progress through intermediate level. 

During the week there will be moments of filming to show off the students personality, fun bloopers,  shining moments, and friendships.

Last day we will perform & shoot the finale
for the  video.

This video will be edited and mailed to you 
later in the summer.

EUGENE  SUMMER  CAMP:  1 - 4 pm
Agate Hall: 18th & Agate, U of O Campus, Eugene, Oregon

please arrive 15 minutes early so we can start on time.

 1 pm:  Social & Performance Dance
2 pm: Singing & Fun Vintage and Contemporary Dance Film Clips
pertaining to the Era and the performance.
2:30 pm:  More New Moves, Steps & Styling
3 pm: Rehearsal.
The last day the performance will be at 3 pm, in costume,
there will be several 'takes' for the video being produced.

Students must be willing to be filmed, and be in the video.
Rights to this video remain with The Joint is Jumpin! Dance Studios,
and may be aired on TV, or used in promotion of the Studio.

A costume will be required for Wednesday - Friday.

There will be time to learn only one number.  

Attendance to all days is highly recommended. 

Snacking and sticky drinks are not encouraged, 
please have an early lunch before hand, and bring a water bottle.

Fee includes:  instruction, filming and
production of the video, as well as the costs of 
mailing the video/cd to you.
